RM Easy Control aims to clean up and optimize the registry, which is the system’s main storage for operating system settings, recent documents, cookies, and other data. It also helps you fix startup problems, speed up your system and share files between PCs. While the application comes with a vast array of fixes, there are also a few downfalls, namely that it doesn’t include any kind of hotkeys, and that you can’t choose programs to load at startup.
Setting up the application
As expected, RM Easy Control installs all its components in the system tray, and it does this without requiring further installation. In other words, you can launch the program and choose to load an executable file or to register it, and the results of that action will be immediately applied to all the machines that are logged into the same system.
The application can be launched either by searching for the executable file with the program file name or with its corresponding shortcut, and it doesn’t ask for your permission to save the changes it makes.
You’ll find the main settings panel located in the menu right below the system tray, which offers you the option to choose where to search for programs to start automatically, plus other settings that are useful for both standard and advanced users.
