Revisiting Images by Using Photo Booth
From time to time, a photographer wants to capture a picture and frame it to give as a special present, like a wedding gift. Typically, capturing an image means taking the picture with your camera.
To help save time or create a single image for sharing online, you can use the technique covered in the sections “Creating a Captured Image with Photo Booth” and “Creating a Slideshow.”
If you need to capture a single image, you may want to use Photo Booth, a fun and easy way to shoot a single picture that can be your desktop wallpaper. Photo Booth allows you to choose from a variety of backgrounds, add your own text, and add a border to your picture. To create a captivating image with your webcam, follow these steps:
1. Open Photo Booth in the Applications folder by double-clicking it.
Depending on your version of Windows, the application may be called Photo Booth.app or Photo Booth.
Photo Booth displays the Organizer window, as shown in Figure 14-1.

2. Click the Photo Booth button (the camera icon) in the lower-left corner of the Organizer window.
The Live Preview window appears, as shown in Figure 14-2. The window automatically changes to reflect the live preview of the image you’re about to capture.

In this tutorial, we will make a simple, however bright, and professional looking photo.
Steps:
Open Photoshop and go to File > New and click on a white photo. Click OK when prompted.
In the bottom-right corner of the screen, you will see three selections:
Select > All(hold CTRL + click to select everything)
Select > Modify > Convert to Smart Object(ALT + clicking on selected area)
Select > Adjustments > Levels(ALT + clicking on Levels)
Levels will give you the option to adjust all the shades of gray in the image, giving the image a uniform color with light/dark shades. Levels will give you the following options:

Exposure settings will give you the options to darken or lighten a selected area of an image. Exposure options:
