Open Channel is a Melbourne based company working in immersive storytelling.
We are the designers, developers and producers at the forefront of the burgeoning VR storytelling industry in Australia and the US. We believe that the art of great storytelling is important for human interaction, engagement, and proliferation. We also specialize in small scale group experiences.
The Bazaar was started by two creative lead brothers, Drury and Richard Fulker – with over 20 years experience between them.
In January 2017 The Bazaar started with a very small investment, small team and a whole lot of passion.
In May of that year we took home $50,000 as first runner-up in the AmericanAmeripriseUS Entrepreneurship Program Awards. We had the chance to pitch to some of the top venture capitalists on the West Coast and put the one-man operation together that led to $1.3M Series A funding.
Our first product, The Bazaar was launched in December 2017 in the Oculus Store with more than 50,000 installs, at the time of launch we also released the world’s first virtual audition experience for film and television.
The Bazaar is designed to help storytellers bring characters to life and connect with audiences, in a borderless environment — a complete experience.

ngOnInit is not triggered when i try to access my component’s data from another component

i have an event stream where i send the access token from the AuthService to the ConversationService and store the access_token in the firestore database. This part works great.
Now i’ve placed the event stream in a new component called SettingsModalComponent and want to access the token before sending it to the firestore database.
This is the structure of my component:
