The Scene Layer
The Scene layer determines which layers are used in the current drawing. When you create a drawing, you can save the layer you used to as the scene layer and then switch to another drawing, and the layer used in that drawing is used as the scene layer in the drawing being saved. The scene layer can be set to the default layer for the current drawing or a named layer.

Transferring XML data from one app to another
I have 2 apps that need to share data. I want to create a separate data base in the 2nd app and share some data from the 1st app to the 2nd app. The 2nd app is a web app.
What is the best way to do this? Is there a “standard” way to do it?
A:
The best way to do this is using the LocalBroadcastManager. See the docs for details, but basically you can register a receiver and broadcast a message and then your Activity class can listen for the message. You can then cast the message to the class in question and it’s easy to extract the data.
A quick example, assuming you have two activities (Activity A and Activity B) and a background service which will constantly be working (but is not intended to be a foreground service):
