The PC Version of World of Tanks Blitz comes out this week and i was able to get it for some time and decided to record a review on it.
So um, let’s get to it.
First, we need to understand that World of Tanks Blitz is very much based around PVP/PVE action. A lot of people don’t want PVP in World of Tanks, and i get it. PVP isn’t the best way to go if you want to experience the World of Tanks universe. That’s not World of Tanks’ goal. It’s a MMO with tank games.
But, there are so many people now who play World of Tanks it’s crazy! Generating money and interest in a game that is so deep, there is a lot of potential for World of Tanks to be a PVP game.
And the game is…off to a start. They’ve made so many changes to their PVP system since the Beta starting with the implementation of a hitbox system, that players have to be careful when dealing with an opponent in that he can hurt them during the fight.
Another issue is damage types. Many tanks and other combat vehicles deal damage through their weapons. The player has to be careful and research weapons and tanks that can deal different types of damage to make sure they are playing the right gun for the right situation.
As one could expect from a tank game, World of Tanks Blitz also has a rich strategy game. This is one of the reasons why World of Tanks was so successful. The choices you have to make are many.
The gameplay in World of Tanks Blitz is a lot of fun. The graphics aren’t outstanding, but are passable. The effects are not good enough. But the gameplay is fun and it’s certainly a good addition to the World of Tanks universe.
But i do have one word for World of Tanks Blitz, and that is: refined.
The game has a lot of rough edges. Many times i was confused why i needed a tank and was required to use a limited number of them.
I was also confused with the battle engine. There were times it was complicated to play with, and i have to admit it, it was frustrating to play
