The game is set in the Lands Between, a place where strong groups wield the power of the Elden Ring to battle against each other. At the beginning of the game you are a lowly Third-Tier Elden Lord, and you will gradually rise as you venture deeper into the world and defeat stronger enemies.

    In Rise of Tarnished Light, you start the game with a character called “Tarnished” which is designed with a default appearance. You can upgrade this appearance to make Tarnished unique by exchanging items and equipping weapons and armor.

    Fantasy games are very hard to come by. “Fantasy” games often have a heavy emphasis on action scenes, which can be frustrating in the beginning. This game delivers an interesting story with an early lack of action, which can create frustration for players. If you get impatient, however, you can always exchange items to make your characters look more heroic.

    The concept of the game itself is good, and the gameplay itself is good enough to keep you interested for the rest of the story. Although the game seems to lack tutorials for new players, tutorials are only required for some of the more complex features in the game, such as movement and weapon skills, so they should not be difficult to find.
