The Alone in the Dark series has been a top selling game franchise for EA and most known for its role-playing and first-person shooter releases. Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare successfully balances the tradition of the Alone in the Dark series and delves into the ever popular horror survival genre. The first episode presents a compelling story of an agent of Eden Corporation (formerly the American branch of ECW) caught in an internal struggle. Working under the leadership of an enigmatic woman, the agent must survive a series of increasingly desperate challenges while unraveling the true nature of the mysterious organization. Using new signature concepts that set this new entry apart from its predecessor, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare marks a new beginning for the series. The game will be available this summer for the PC, XBox 360 and the Playstation 3. For more information about the game, please visit www.alonewindown.com.

How to convert hex value to Decimal value in x86 assembly in Linux
In x86 assembly, let’s say I have a hex value of e.g. 0x01223300, and I want to convert this value to decimal and store it in an integer variable (i.e. I want to do integer x=0x01223300, but not plain 0x01223300.)
I have tried a couple of things, but I was not able to succeed:
At first, I tried to convert the hex value to decimal (in decimal) by using the following instruction:
movl $0x01223300, %esi
movl %esi, %edi
addl %esi, %edi
movl %edi, %eax
imull %eax
However, the result was 0x01, not 0x223300.
So, I tried to convert the hex value to decimal

National Forestry Association (United Kingdom)
The National Forestry Association (NFA), also called National Foresters’ Association, is the oldest association in Britain for landholders, foresters, and managers of woodland. The NFA was founded in 1842 as a student society, and in 1921 became part of the Royal Forestry Society.
History
The NFA was founded in 1842 as a student society of the University of Oxford, as the “Foresters’ Club” and gradually took on a more public role. It was not until 1929 that it became a full member of the Royal Forestry Society, when a separate Royal Forestry Society committee was formed. Following the nationalisation of the forests in 1920, the NFA became the Forest Registers Officers Association, and since 1994 they have been the Forestry Registers Officers Association (United Kingdom).
The NFA is an independent and non-profit organisation run by a board of unpaid directors, and is non-governmental and non-party political. The NFA’s main function is to supply and advise on information for landholders, foresters, and managers of woodland throughout Britain.
The NFA is politically neutral and there has been no links or political affiliation with any political party since 1945, and it has played no role in the democratic debate on the future of the Forestry Commission.
Aims
The NFA aim to promote the interests of foresters, landowners, and managers of woodland throughout Britain.
Operation
The NFA was originally based in Shifnal, Shropshire and it has moved its headquarters to Ashtead in Surrey.
The NFA has two public forums, the NFA Print Newspaper and the NFA Online. The NFA has a social presence through its N

Snakes&Ladders: Origins – Episode 1 is a game of precise, tactical strategy; and thought-intensive interaction. An online dating game at its finest.
“Before you make your choice,” says I, “and from the moment you begin, there are strategies-and lots of them!
Strategies that the computer can’t even begin to comprehend.
The needs of each player must be taken into account from the outset, and nothing else can come between you and the answers to your questions. There is nothing else!
All that will now separate you from the answers, is your own will.
Part of this, as I have said before, is the millions of choices to make.
But, it is only part.
Because, at the end of the day, in the final analysis, everything else you do, is just the means to your final destination; which, ultimately, is only that.
A choice.
A final choice.
You’re the only one in a position to make that final choice.
And that is the ultimate risk of all choices.
So, don’t risk it all.”

Pull up a drawbridge. The Ghostbusters are back.
The Ghostbusters: The Video Game is one of the most fun games ever made. It was released on the NES in 1989 to critical and fan approval. At a time when less than 50% of gamers owned a console (for more accurate information about the NES, see “The Demise of Consumer Electronics”), this release from developer LJN scored very well. On Feb. 10, 2015, the Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered was released by Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. This version is a new, complete redesign of the game with higher resolution graphics, updated controls and true to its NES original atmosphere.
Until I played the NES version, I was not overly familiar with the Ghostbusters. I knew about the cartoon, wanted the Ghostbusters’ phone number in my favorites, and saw the movie. When my parents bought the game, I grew up with the Ghostbusters. Teenagers today have never seen Ecto-1 in the film. I was only a baby when Ghostbusters II was released, so I knew Ghostbusters II, but not Ghostbusters. Although I was more familiar with the Ghostbusters through the movies, the first two games never got high marks for graphics. Ghostbusters, with its 90s dung-colored palette, is a very different experience from the NES.
The Audio
The best thing about Ghostbusters: The Video Game is the audio. The classic NES tunes have been remastered. When the Ghostbusters are first introduced, Peter (standing center) and Dr. Stantz (standing to Peter’s left, also in view) say “We’ll make their day!” and the theme music from the film begins. The game has its own version of the Ghostbusters theme that starts with “You’ve got them running…”. Although the music is the same, there is definitely a difference in the game. Little details are present to let you know that there was more than just a coin toss. The sounds of people laughing at their Halloween costumes and the Ghostbusters levitating objects are replaced by the original movie sounds. My favorite part of the remastered audio is when the Ghostbusters mention “suprising changes in electrical systems.” The original version says “Ecto!” I heard it with an original NES and the original cartridge. “Surprising” is used in the remastered version for the same
