My friend Cory was the first to introduce me to the Adventure Time series of mini-animations. I loved them. So I was pretty excited to see a couple last weeks that I think you will too. I was also lucky enough to be able to do some at C2E2, but alas I didn’t get any photos. These ones were up at the Cartoon Network booth as part of the Big Time block. These are a live-action, small scale, narrative series. Each episode is a single shot, but when placed in sequence they follow some really great storylines. There’s a lot of visual puns too, like the music industry, movie trailers, test screening, the whole nine yards.
They also have a ton of awesome animation, and some of the characters have their own incredible personalities. Here’s an animator, I can’t remember their name, giving a tour of the Cartoon Network booth. It’s quite funny.
Here’s the live-action pilot, Fionna and Cake. Here’s a synopsis of the series.

I hope by now you had some time to read the previous chapters…. Because my suggestion is that this story is interesting and of course moving.
To be honest, the first months I beat this story, I expected a finale of one chapter. I still do, but my interest is increasing every day, and so I’m going to review a bit the structure that I think, with the last chapter, will be the best to end this story.
