Buddy Bash Review
As soon as the game starts there is a tutorial which shows you how to get your buddy moving. This is accomplished by simply holding your friends hand to either pull them or push them. Other variations are a jump while holding them or a double jump by pulling on two of your buddies at the same time. All the while, the buddy is still able to move independently, so be sure to hold him or her by the hand that would be blocking the movement.
Upon completion of the tutorial you are presented with two options: Practice and Play and Practice. One is for learning and the other is for a kick-ass party. “Practice” is pretty much a free-for-all where you can use whatever power you want (bazookas, machine guns, shotguns, you name it) to hit anything and everything in your path. And then “Play” is a bit more structured and offers some options to get you in to the flow of things and help you get used to the controls.
Buddy Bash has a limited (but a lot of it) training mode. The main purpose of this is to help you learn the character controls and get a feel for the game. In this mode you can only move in one direction, you have to shoot using the right thumbstick and use the right stick to jump. The other hand is controlled by the right analog stick. In other words, you can only move right.

Roy “Buddy” Bashful (May 29, 1915 – September 12, 1959) was an American singer, songwriter, musician and actor. Bashful is perhaps best known for his composition “Boogie Woogie Walkie Talkie Baby”, and he also released several records under the moniker “New Broken Strings”.
Career
Buddy Bashful was born Roy Montague Bashful (sometimes spelled Basho) in Nampa, Idaho, although his birth certificate records his birthplace as being Clearwater, Minnesota. His father was wounded by shellfire during World War I; this may have caused his mother to persuade his family to move West.
He developed a serious asthma problem at age 4, and by age eight he was suffocating to death on a daily basis. As a result, he drank large amounts of castor oil to aid his digestion, which gave him a distinctive flatulence, as one obituary puts it, that was quite audible onstage.
In 1924 Bashful moved to Denver, where he sang in local cafés as a teenager. When he was eighteen, he was visited by a pop-star agent who offered him a contract with Columbia Records; but Bashful declined, believing he would be unable to maintain privacy. He moved to Hollywood, had a Top 40 hit as a vocalist on Decca Records in 1941 with “I’m Talkin’ About You.” The record reached number 20 on the Billboard charts. It was re-released on the compilation My Many Colored Coat in the UK.
Harry Brog was hired to produce his records. He went over to the United States from a Scottish family in the British West Indies. Brog employed “the Scot types of music. They were always playing the tunes on fiddles instead of accompaniments”, as Cockney Rebel Alex Campbell put it. “He would tell me that we were in Scotland and I must walk around the room and shake hands with all the people in there. Then they would all tell him we were in Los Angeles and they were all friends and we had to drink all night. That has gone on from the beginning I think.”
“I remember him saying that he was in New York but working the West Coast, where he would have the record made,” wrote Campbell.
